post demolition update

It seems like forever since the demolition. So much has happened and not happened. We had our final engineering and decided to make some changes. Then we didn't like the changes and went back to the old design with some modifications. The are still working on it as of today.

We have made some progress. We purchased a new toilet, sink and faucet for the powder room. Also the faucet for the kitchen. Got our house measured for the wood flooring. Had an air conditioning guy come out to see if we could move the vent somewhere else and move the vent to the range. Lastly, the electrician came to give us an estimate for all the work he needs to do and some work we want to update our lighting. We were shocked at the cost and now are considering a modification on what we really need.

We also started painting, sanding the stair rails and removing the wall paper in the powder room. Hopefully we will be back on schedule soon.

Our very big pine tree.

Had to go. It was nice when it was smaller but just got too big. Jeff really liked it but when it started lifting our sidewalk near the gate. He knew it was time to go. In it's place he is thinking of planting an orange tree he already has and some nice flowers. It was sad but looks much nicer now.

We are considering this tile for our kitchen back splash.

New toilet. Jeff is so happy!!!

Powder room sink.

Wall graffiti. Every one that came to work on our house has been writing notes and numbers on the walls. Sort of interesting looking but sad that they can't use paper to write their notes...

Bye, bye pine, but an orange tree would be great, too.
