On our way home from dinner at Uncle Yoshi's Sunday night (21 Oct), we noticed a large fire east of the 405 freeway. We drove up Sand Canyon road and they stopped traffic at Irvine Blvd. This fire had already consumed 3,800 acres by the time we arrived.+012.jpg)

These photographs are so moving--a friend of Usher's emailed a picture of that fire taken from a Foothill Ranch home. It's scary. Anyway, thanks for sharing.
