2007 irvine fire

On our way home from dinner at Uncle Yoshi's Sunday night (21 Oct), we noticed a large fire east of the 405 freeway. We drove up Sand Canyon road and they stopped traffic at Irvine Blvd. This fire had already consumed 3,800 acres by the time we arrived.

not our typical saturday

Penn State football game this morning. Too bad it's not on TV but they won. Yippee... Go Penn State!!! (for Jeff)

Breakfast at Ted's. Oops, we were so hungry we forgot to take a picture before we ate. Jeff had ham, eggs, hash browns and toast. I had blueberry pancakes. Yum O!!!

What a mess, pigs must live here. Better do some cleaning.

I think we cleaned a little too much!!! Only the TV is left in the living room... Now that's cleaning.

ironing board cover

I bought this ironing board cover the other day and noticed something funny on it when I got home.

Who knew that ironing twice a month is considered moderate use. Wonder what they consider ironing every day???

project playhouse

We went to Fashion Island for lunch and noticed the Playhouses were open. They are sold at auction for charity. Some lucky kids will get a really fancy play house. Nicer than our house but too tiny!!! Wish we could have one. So cute...

We were inspired by the Wahoo's playhouse to eat lunch at Wahoo's. They have sort of healthy Mexican food.

Lunch, fish enchilada with rice and black beans and nachos. All this food only cost $11. It was very good and a bargain too!!!

roger rabbit

Brian, Marissa and Roger are visiting from Minnesota. They came to visit UCSD, one college Marissa is considering. Roger has been with Marissa since she was 5 years old. He goes where ever she goes. He is a little worn out but still smells ok.
