during our last trip to hawaii in nov 08. we found this hiking trail but didn't have time to do it. we didn't know where it went or how long it would take but said we would try it on our next trip. so of course it was top on our list of things to do on this vacation.
i saw in the book 101 things to do in hawaii that this was about at 2 mile hike. we should be able to do it easily. we saw several families with small children and even strollers. the road was really nice and paved. the walk was mostly up hill and it was hot with no shade. we didn't bring any water, just a diet 7up!!! i was thinking that we should go back but just kept going not knowing what was at the end of the trail.

That's cool! The tidepools look really neat, but I don't think I could make that hike.
