trader joe's salsa kit

We were at our weekly Trader Joe's shopping trip and saw this salsa kit. Since fish taco's were on the menu we thought we would try it to see if it was good. Can't go wrong at $1.99. Close to the price of a jar of salsa.

Look at what is in this kit. So cute!

Took a while to chop everything up. Only used 1/2 the shallot and jalapeno. It was good and definitely worth $1.99. We will get it again.

I had planned on taking lots of pictures today but shortly after our afternoon had began, the battery in my camera died. I was sad but we still had a great day. Listened to the All American College band again. We rode Pirates of the Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters 3 times in a row. We had fast passes for it but as we arrived it had just opened after being broken down and there was no line. You can see our results. Jeff got progressively better and I got worse. To say the least, I was a bit dizzy after 3 rides in a row.

beard papa's

Today was one of my best days. With greatest anticipation, beard papa's cream puffs are finally opened (first day was last Saturday). I have been waiting since April. Jeff was on jury duty and ate lunch everyday at Main Place mall and told me it was opening in June. I was so excited and couldn't wait. The first time we ate these delicious cream puffs was in Hawaii over a year ago. Cousin Laura bought them for us. It's been a long time since we got to have one again. We were not disappointed. They were slightly crunchy on the outside and a creamy custard on the inside. Can't wait till we get them again...

bistro jeanty

Bistro Jeanty is one of our most favorite places. It's a small french restaurant in Yountville. The food is simple but we are always amazed how good it is. It seems like we always order the same things since we like them so much which makes it hard to get something new. Check out the Bistro Jeanty's website. It is really cute.

taylor's automatic refresher

This is usually our very first stop while visiting Napa. Taylor's has the best burgers we have ever had anywhere!!! As you can see by the long lines, this is a very popular place to eat. The milk shakes are really good too. It is a must eat if you ever get to Napa.

Since we are having a big dinner at Redd tonight we decided to get the fish and chips and a grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was good but I wish we could have had a burger instead. Pretty good for our first meal in Napa!!!

Wow, the line is really long today (our last meal in Napa).

Finally, Jeff is ordering. Hope he gets it right but of course our order was wrong. He was supposed to get a Western Bacon Blue Ring burger but just got a Blue Cheese burger. It was a little disappointing but still good. We also tried the sweet potato fries for the first time. I would definitely get them again. The regular fries are just ordinary fries. Nothing special.

While we were waiting for our food, we took pictures of ourselves. It helped pass the time.

Our last meal in Napa. Blue Cheese burger, sweet potato fries and diet coke. We are so sad but look forward to our next visit.
