last weekend we decided to work on our sad garden.

here is what we got at home depot.

it's a start. it will take many more weekends before our garden is nice again.

it's begining to look a lot like christmas!!!

we were at disneyland the night before and saw that they would be filming on saturday for the christmas day special. of course we had to go. we love any chance to be on tv!!!

finally, they started to film the parade. it was so hot, it felt like summer. they were moving very slow...

apples, apples and more apples...

last weekend we went apple picking at oak glen with clyde, kelly, kai and mom. it was about an hour and half away from clyde and kelly's house. it was a beautiful day for apple picking...

there were 2 different sizes of bags we could buy to hold our picked apples. of course we got the bigger bag..
