Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Its been so long since we updated this blog and we never caught up from last year so we will start from Christmas and hope that we can do better this year!!! 2012 is going to be a very busy year... stay tuned!!!

24 hours in the East!!!

we decided to fly to PA to surprise Jeff's parents for their 50th anniversary...

took a red eye from lax to washington dc and saw this plane at the airport.

it was one of my dreams to visit georgetown cupcakes and on this day my dream came true!!!

next very early morning got on the plane back home for lunch at Disneyland

we had a lunch date with cousins from hawaii, clyde and kai!!!

it was a crazy weekend but super fun!!!

road trip to vegas...

almost a year earlier we got tickets to lady gaga concert in vegas...  we almost didn't go cause we failed to book our hotel till the last minute but we got one and made the long road trip...

less than 24 hours in vegas and we are on the road back home.

best concert and a fun trip!!!

car accident #2

on the way to uncle's house for our usual sunday dinner a car was speeding on the freeway and hit the car in front of her and lost control of her car.  she then hit us on the side of our car... luckily jeff was able to control our car and keep us from rolling over.  the side airbags went off and our car filled with smoke so it was difficult to see.  we were freaked out but not hurt bad. A few weeks later we finally got the police report and found out that the girl was drunk and on a suspended drivers license.  can't believe this poor car got in a second bad accident in 3 years....

it was pretty amazing to see that the air bag ripped open the leather in our car.  my arm got a really big bruise from it but i survived!!!

tow truck came to take it to be fixed.  it was easy this time cause we knew where to take it...

sad to see you go....

4 weeks later our car was fixed and looked as good as new again... it never felt the same again and we ordered a new one.  after having a white car for over 20 years we needed a change of luck and color so our new car is black.  it feels strange to have a black car but we are getting used to it and of course we love it!!!
