christmas day and dinner at our house

the cooks (me and marissa) are up early and cooking in our pj's...

i started cooking the day before but still had a lot to do before the guest arrived.

what a mess!!!

this is the only photo we have of all the food we made. it usually gets so crazy trying to get all the food ready that as usual we forgot to take a photo of the dinner. it was pretty good. prime rib, scalloped potatoes, sweet potatoes, lasagna and rolls. didn't have time to make any vegetables but figured no one would eat them any way!!!! at least that's what i told myself...

well, we hope everyone had a good christmas... it was great to get together with the family and look forward to improving our dinner next year!!! our craziness didn't stop here a week later we had a big adventure at Walt Disney World

Christmas Eve

christmas eve dinner at clyde, kelly and kai's house!!! everything was super yummy especially the chicken pot pie... jeff kept saying how good it was and how he hopes that we get the recipe so we can make it at home... great job kelly!!!!

my rolls, have gotten better over the years but don't make them very often anymore. mostly just for special occasions or by request. always a favorite of jr's!!!!

thanks to marissa for taking some photo's for us!!! we (jeff and lisa) should do a better job next year... so, sorry family if we got your bad side, back side or you are just missing !!!

It's Christmas time !!!

welcome to our house!!!

it takes forever to clean our house and decorate for christmas. feels like we just put our decorations away in the garage and now we have to get them out again...

jeff and i arranged this table a million different ways to fit as many chairs as we could. it was a nightmare!!! our house feels so small...


now, we just have to cook all the food and we are ready!!!

It's been a very busy few months and we are very behind on updating our blog but hopefully we can get back on track soon. Just returned from Florida where we had a great vacation and finished our 3rd half marathon. Happy New Year everyone...
